A custom hand thatching rake for thinning out dead grasses and more
This tool was made at the request of a customer in Alaska for spot thinning and de-thatching of his beautifully landscaped yard. The head is 8 1/2″ to 9″ wide with 2 1/2″ tall quarter moon teeth. The teeth are made of 12 gauge steel and are placed approximately 3/4″ apart. With two 7/16″ steel bow shanks to even out the weight of the head, this is a heavy duty tool fitted with a 5 1/2″ hickory handle. Total length of the tool is around 15″ to 16″.
