Of all weeding tasks, by far the hardest is removing weeds from crevices. Weed seeds find their way into every nook and cranny and thrive on what little nutrients they find there. Some crevices are irregular–wall chinks for example, stress cracks in concrete sidewalks, gaps between irregularly shaped pavers. Most are straight seams between bricks or the boards of a deck, expansion joints in concrete work, the juncture of sidewalks or driveways with curbs. In worst cases, where the cracks are minute and irregular and will absolutely not yield, you have to resort to chemical weeding, repeated spraying with vinegar, or a propane torch. However, in most cases our long handled Crevice Weeder will extricate the weeds handily with no bending over and a modicum of cursing.
