Speirantha convallarioides is an uncommon perennial with starry, white, fragrant blooms in rounded clusters that appear among the leaves. These mid-spring blooms clusters are held on the ends of narrow stems and are followed by dark berries.Also known as False Lily-of-the-Valley, its evergreen leaves resemble the foliage of familiar lily-of-the-valley, and, like it, the leaves arise directly from its slowly spreading rhizomes. Speirantha convallarioides is a nice addition to woodland plantings.
