A deciduous shrub reaching 4-6′ tall with a spread of 4-6′. A very prickly rose shrub with large pink single flowers with a nice scent. Flowers are followed by large hips that start out green but turn red as the season progresses. Edible with a bit of bitterness. Great for jams and teas! Handles salty air for cosatl areas.
