Purple Splendor Azalea is a slow growing shrub that has nice gray-green leaves that take on some yellow tones in the winter. Blooming mid-spring the compact plant produces magenta-purple funnel-shaped flowers with intriguing frilled edges. Makes a wonderful specimen in a shaded woodland garden.
