Lonicera nitida ‘Baggesen’s Gold’

Misunderstood and underused SHRUB! This is NOT a ferocious, rampant, house eating vinebut a wonderful shrubby ‘box honeysuckle’. Dense arching branches with tiny golden, evergreen leaves reaching (if left to it’s own devices) 6′ high and wide. Fine textured and lemon-limey, its delicate appearance hides a tough constitution. Most soils, sun to light shade; deer resistant and very easy to grow. Can be shearedI say this with a shuddergood looking anywhere! Fragrant blooms followed by pretty, purple paired berriessometimes.
