Fremontodendron Californicum
This fast growing bush can reach a height of up to twenty feet tall and wide.The leaves have a leathery and fuzzy texture reminiscent of flannel, andlarge yellow orange flowers that bloom in the spring and summer.This plant produces a pollen that can produce an allergic reaction.
You can prune this plant as needed. You shouldnt cut into old wood, prune hard, or make large pruning cuts. The foliage and young stems have brown hairs that can be irritating and might cause a rash.
