The Cape Cod weeder is an old and favorite tool in the Northeast. Ours is a modified (and improved) version. Instead of a draw hoe made from thin metal strip with a bend in it, ours is hand forged from 3/8 inch steel rod as a single piece and is sharped for use as a scuffle hoe. It will cut weeds on the draw or on the push, and it is designed to be sturdy enough to flick out small weeds using the tip.
